KAPOMI has a mission to bridge the gap between research and policy through development and implementation of evidence based research and policy studies, advocacy and capacity building that improve the quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity of individuals and organizations.
COMMUNITY SERVICE AND YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
This program area seeks to enhance public health, education, community service and child development strategies. This links and deepens our connection to the world we live in by invigorating communities and environments through sustained engagement. Other associated program includes:

GOVERNANCE AND MANAGEMENT
The Initiative is governed by its Board of Directors, drawn from both private and public sectors. The Secretariat of the Initiative, located in Nigeria, is headed by the Executive Director, and consists of the Manager, Finance and Administration, Director of Research, Director, Training and Programme Coordinators, Research Associates and Fellows, and a small team of support staff. Much of the substantive work of the Initiative is carried out through a network of individual/ fellows (within and outside of Nigeria) who are affiliated to the Initiative as Associate Fellows, Associates and Individual Member and Advisers as well as collaborating institutions within and outside of Nigeria.
